Frederique Van Der Wal grew up in
Holland and never imagined becoming one of today’s hottest models. She
jumpstarted her modeling career by winning the prestigious Elite Look of
the Year contest. However, before diving into the world of modeling, she
chose to finish school. After graduation, she moved to New York and the
rest is modeling history!
With her sophisticated style and grace, there was no doubt that she was
going to make it big. Frederique appeared in the celebrated GUESS?
advertising campaigns in 1986, shot by Wayne Maser. She is seen
gallivanting with fellow model Estelle Halliday looking very at home on
the ranch in Austin, Texas.
Frederique has led an incredibly full life. An undeniably successful
model, she has appeared on countless magazine covers, in Victoria Secret’s
catalogs, fashion shows, TV shows, commercials and even two independent
films. Not only has she has stunned the fashion world with her success but
she is now an equally successful and savvy businesswoman who has her own
fragrance and lingerie line, a workout video, a calendar and her own
website.
She enjoys skiing, mountain climbing, field hockey and tennis. A sport
buff at heart, she also enjoys going to Knicks and Ranger games. In her
spare time, she likes to read, go to the movies and visit art galleries.
With so much success in her blood, she still has energy to conquer the
world. But for now, she would like to continue her modeling, acting and
business careers. |
